| | 1) okay, so it's been awesome getting more chances to hang out with your mexican self. we've had fun and we've had some laughs, even if you didn't buy my iPod :P
2) you became an amazing friend to me this year. i have gone to you just about every time something's gone wrong, and whenever i haven't you saw right through me and called me on it. i know God placed you in my life for a reason, and that reason is to be a brother in my life, to laugh with me and to help me through stuff. i will be with you next year for your last year at fuge, don't worry.
3) i will be honest. you're an awesome guy, you just bug sometime. i like doing things on my own terms, not cause i'm being forced, thank you very much.
4) you're amazing. end of story. well, not quite, cause i'm still talking. it has been the best experience in the world getting to become this close to you. i would never trade it for anything. just being with you or even talking to you makes my day, my week even. we have similar tastes in like, everything. you can make me laugh no matter what mood i'm in, no matter what crap i'm going through. and when i don't need a laugh, you're there with a hug, or just to listen, or to talk some sense into me. there's so much more that i just can't quite say, but i hope i can soon. you don't even understand. thank you for being amazing. i love you.
5) it sucks that we never ever get to see each other, because you rock. you and i have some of the most amazing conversations. i trust you a lot. i'm happy you guys are so great together. you need to come to east because you rock so much. hopefully since it's summer we'll get to hang out some more.
6) i must admit, it took me a while to warm up to you. and i'm pretty sure you can guess why. but, you've turned out to be a pretty cool guy. i may not totally trust you, but that's understandable. you're still a fun guy. you make thursdays and sundays fun. and i can have a pretty good conversation with you if i want to. you draw awesome, and you drum even awesomer. seriously, you're like wicked. haha. i've heard from people that me and my best buddy have become great friends of yours, and i find that flattering. thanks.
7) and now for that best buddy i just mentioned. four years we've lived through. what a trip. i've seen good sides, bad sides (rarely) and everything in between. if we had a penny for each of our good ideas we'd have only one penny to fund each idea and boy would they turn out lame. thirty years later, dudes in trees, tekno songs, guitar songs, gender-confused fish, rockumentaries; we've done it all, albeit usually without finishing any of them. one of these days that will change, and those amazing ideas will all be done and amazing. until then, we'll hang in there for many, many years laughing and thinking and fighting and rocking and rolling and laughing some more. and when that ends, we'll do it all over again for eternity in Heaven.
8) you've made me a bit discouraged. disappointed, even. we were such great friends and it fell apart. the worst part about it was that i don't even understand why. we would talk every chance we got. this year, i was lucky if i even got to see you at all. i hate it. you were one of my best friends. i tried whenever i could to fix things, but it's hard to fix something when you don't even know how it's broken, what to fix, or why i should bother. apparently it didn't mean that much or it wouldn't have broken that easily. but do know that while the door may seem closed, it's never ever locked and the welcome sign will never come down.
9) i really want to thank you for making this such an amazing year. we've had some of the best times. i really don't think you know how much i appreciate your friendship. you've got your problems, but don't we all? from panda at fresno state to ordering pizza in acadec and making mr leslie pay for it, we've done it all :) please do me a favor and never, ever, ever leave me. because you're amazing and i love you. |
